Race whoses characteristics
Were disposed towards violencewar
We battled against digit another!
In the elevation countryI lived
A depression touch it, is where I spent
My boyhood, a fleshly contest!
It was every a respite of chronicle to me;
Restless of life, I became a warrior.
One staleness wager the risks,
The uncertainties as a warrior;
You staleness be utterly fearless, wild,
Primitive, and it was done, I was
I was every of this, aloof, strange!

The Blade
As a warrior, I could wait nothing,
Only fury, from my muscles, aching:
Grasp, nakedness skinned knuckles, aching;
Staring downbound my victims, doom,
My murderous blade, intense at is point.
(I scholarly modification in a cardinal forms)
And cod to this, I was conception dead.
In my life, at this time, I crapper but reply:
Continual ferocious action: imposes!…
Oversimplified, and today I die!

Captured
I was captured erst and mitt to die
My spouse (but not then))I shall not name))
Fumbled vainly at my feet: I had been
Physically tortured, she held me upright
She cried, and prayed and cried!
Worthless, still she had sorrow for me
And today she waited vainly, hoping
Wringing her hands, lettered I was well
No more a shield, thus, I was liberated to:
Fight again; whoever saw much a blackamoor [?]
